MV ASKS: WHEN DID YOU FIRST GET SCOUTED?
I was first scouted when I had just turned 13 with my mum.
A lady came over to me and said, “This is what I want, but stretched.” Thank god I grew!
MV ASKS: WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE MODELLING EXPERIENCE TO DATE?
This is a hard question… I would say my first Armani campaign shoot in Sardinia.
It’s hard to pick between each Armani shoot as they are always so different in location. However, I made lifelong friends with every person on these shoots. The wonderful food, the belly laughs, the beautiful scenery, and most of all the wonderful people in the crew! I’ll always look back at those pictures and smile to myself.
MV ASKS: WHAT IS YOUR MORNING BEAUTY ROUTINE BEFORE A JOB?
My morning routine is simple, as I have to prepare my face as a base for the rest of the day.
- I start with washing my face with my Clarisonic brush
- A gentle cleanser from skin nurse
- If I feel my face is puffy, I’ll gua-sha my face with my pink rose stone to push the fluid away from my face and neck
- I apply my SkinCeuticals hyaluronic acid serum (intensifier)
- Followed by a lite BB cream with SPF 30 at least
- Then I’m ready to rock ’n roll!
MV ASKS: WHAT WAS IT LIKE FILMING ON-SET OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE?
This was such an incredible experience that I’ll never forget.
I got the part by auditioning like any other actress would. I received the call and straight away they wanted me to train in the Warner Brothers studio in London. They have a warehouse gym that the actors from the film train at in-between scenes, so I’d be training with all the superheroes from DC! It was epic. This went on for weeks.
I trained 5 days a week with 2 hours of weapon training. Then straight into the gym for 2 hours of more workouts. We then went on to film the evil scene in Monaco. It was mind-blowing!
MV ASKS: HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVED WHEN IT COMES TO FITNESS?
Motivation comes and goes with me. I love getting my friends involved. So when you’re not feeling up for a workout your friends pull you out of your lazy days and vice versa.
MV ASKS: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TYPE OF EXERCISE AT THE MOMENT?
I would have to say playing football on the weekends. I can’t play football well, however that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. My favourite exercises are the ones where you don’t have to think about how hard it is. You just have fun and happen to be active at the same time.
MV ASKS: WE HEARD YOU HAVE RECENTLY GOT INTO KUNG FU. WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT MARTIAL ARTS COMPARED TO OTHER FITNESS REGIMENS?
Martial arts is something you have to praise to feel satisfied with. You get great endorphins through knowing routines and having the correct reactions.
Martial arts is a 360 fighting technique so you constantly have to think about what might come next.
-That’s exciting to me.
MV ASKS: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LIFE QUOTE?
Things always happen for a reason.
MV ASKS: WHAT IS ONE MISCONCEPTION ABOUT THE MODELLING INDUSTRY YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE?
MV ASKS: ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON ANY EXCITING PROJECTS WHICH YOU CAN SHARE WITH US?
2019 is a year that I can’t wait for! I’m acting more and more, so watch this space.
