From humble beginnings at New York’s Plaza Hotel in 1995 where models walked the runway with cardigans and handbags, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has quickly evolved into a world-class spectacular.
Today, the show has become an extravaganza event, as bejewelled angels storm the catwalk upon the admiration of over 800 Million people who solely tune in to watch the show.
Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen are all Victoria’s Secret alumni and there’s a new breed of angels such as the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. We are also proud to announce the names of our own #MVBabes who will be gracing the iconic catwalk for the first time this season: Kelsey Merritt, Lorena Rae, Willow Hand, Gizele Oliveira and Leomie Anderson.
With over £9.2 million spent on show production, this year’s show will be unlike no other, with the angels being joined by some of the biggest names in music and fashion, with a bespoke collaboration with Mary Katrantzou.
This year the show is returned to its original location of New York City, after years in cities like London, Paris, and Shanghai.

She originally started blogging as a teen under the site Things of Teens, before starting her modelling career. She first walked in the show last year and gracefully helped fellow model Ming Xi who fell down on the catwalk.
This Filipino beauty has a huge passion for ocean conversation and uses her social media to help inspire her followers.
She says however if she wasn’t a model, she might have been a volleyball player competing in the Olympics.

I love men’s stuff. I buy tracksuits, I buy men’s extra small. Because I just feel like with menswear, you can wear it oversized, or if you want to change it up you can get it tailored
ELSA HOSK WILL BE WEARING THIS YEAR’S FANTASY BRA
The Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk, has been honoured with the crown jewels for this year’s Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
This year, the coveted Fantasy Bra, has been designed by Atelier Swarovski and is valued at around $1 million.
She’s been walking in the show since 2011, and today was able to follow in the footsteps of her VS angel icon Karolina Kurkova, who wore the Fantasy Bra in 2006.
Elsa told Elle her initial reaction when first finding out about the bra:
I was freaking out because I had no idea it was going to be me and they surprised me on a shoot. I was really in shock. When I opened the box, I was assuming it was a birthday cake because my birthday is coming up but it was the Fantasy Bra. I was just shaking, and I didn’t believe they were serious. It was so beautiful. The whole day I was just in a constant smile because I was just so happy.

VS X MARY KATRANTZOU
After a celebratory 10th anniversary show during London Fashion Week, Mary Katrantzou is the rising British designer everyone wants to know. During this show special, the designer unveiled a capsule collection with Victoria’s Secret, describing how:
My work is about perception and perspective and filtering beauty through design to allow women to stand out. I wanted to turn that on its head and look at the ‘foundation’ that we wear as women, underneath the clothes I usually design in my collections. Underwear is the first protective layer that has the ability to reinforce a woman’s confidence.
The Katrantzou collaboration is the second high-fashion capsule for Victoria’s Secret, after partnering with Balmain on a range of lingerie that debuted at last year’s fashion show.
