Catwalk Crush - Our Favourite MV Babe Fashion Week Moments

Your catwalk success can be the defining moment of your international career, sending you abroad to the work with the most fabulous designers, located in the most exclusive venues. It’s a powerful way to help broadcast your fresh new face to the fashion industry and sustain your mark.

When a model scores an exclusive for a fashion label, it means that they have been picked to walk for that particular designer only. This helps launch your career and encourage your status amongst their fashion followers and improve your status in the fashion industry. There is truly nothing stopping you from reaching this level of success so be sure to nail your killer walk and create a strong, lasting impression on every client this season.

Here are a few of our favourite international catwalk moments from the MV Babes to help inspire you this season.

Madi Fogg

Madi Fogg did an amazing job walking for @chaneloffical in June 2016. Chanel presented the Paris in Rome 2015/16 Métiers d’art collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld on May 31st, 2016 in Beijing. Guests included Chanel ambassadresses Kristen Stewart and Zhou Xun, French model Caroline de Maigret among others. The Chanel show is a huge achievement for any model so a massive congratulations to Madi!

“The Paris in Rome collection is about telling a roman tale inspired by the history of cinema and French actresses acting in Italian movies by Italian directors.”

Saskia kane

Our next catwalkcrush moment brings us back to LFW featuring MV Babe Saskiamkane spotted walking for the Fashion Scout runway for the Ones To Watch show. Walking for Krasimira Stoyneva’s collection, Vogue even announced the designer a winner for Ones To Watch. Fashion Scout is the international showcase for fashion pioneers and is a great platform to help launch the career of both the designers and models.

Ones to Watch is designed to help support emerging designers, develop businesses internationally and generate maximum media and buyer attendance. So definitely something to look out for this season!

Eenee Jaki

This MV Babe is represented in Paris, Milan, London and Lisbon, truly reflecting a powerful profile on an international level. With over 52.6K followers on Instagram Eenee has successfully sustained her position within the fashion industry. One of our favourite moments from her catwalk history however is from the French designer Galia Lahav’s show for Paris Fashion Week held at the Grand Palais. This couture show focused on featuring garments with Victorian aspects with a modern interpretation.

Shannon Lawson

This MV Babe is also represented worldwide with agencies based in Miami, London South Africa to name a few! She has over 70K followers on Instagram and is definitely one to follow for fashion inspiration and fitness motivation. Her hard work and dedication is reflective through her success on the catwalk also. She was spotted walking for Sydney based designer IXIAH for Australia Fashion Week in 2015.

Australia Fashion Week is a strong example of smaller season that does not fail in helping promote innovative and unrestrained expectations within fashion to help launch the career of a models success.

In celebration of her experience Shannon even posted this photo of her - captured by NewYorkTimes on her Instagram. Check out her picture below:

Karla Kuhlman

Last but not least our last catwalk crush features MV Babe Karla walking for the German designer Aleks Kurkowski. Aleks Kurkowski focuses their designer on sustainability, which is one of the most important issues in Berlin. It is always enlightening to learn more about the history and vision behind a designers collection, so if you have time make sure to research the designers previous collections before you visit the casting. MV Babe Karla was even captured in Vogue Deutsch featuring her walk from the show. We love the sharp angles and defined look on her face as she captivates the audience!
