‘If you’re unhappy with your body shape and weight, and essentially have a good base level of fitness, high intensity interval training (HIIT) is great as it challenges your body,’ says the trainer, Dalton Wong. For me, there is nothing more satisfying than pushing yourself to the maximum in a HIIT class. The new fitness wristbands and devices have stepped these workouts up a gear as your stats, including heart-rate and calorie burn, can be publicised to the rest of the class, motivating you to make that extra rep, but also making you more aware of your capabilities.
