For years it seems that diversity in fashion rises and falls. This year it seems that diversity and celebration of differences of colour and race is back in the game. And is it not just a beautiful thing to see.
The year of diversity kicked off with black supermodel Jourdan Dunn gracing the cover of british vogue, being the first solo black supermodel to grace the cover of vogue in 12 years.
Along with this, we saw diversity all over the runway this season. From shows like Marc Jacobs to Alexander Wang and all those around and in between.
And how refreshing it was to see the beauty of difference and change before our eyes representing fashion and evolving in the industry. It not only opens our eyes but makes the clothes and significance of a strong woman even more powerful seeing strength through the eyes of all colour and races.
